Good to see “psychological operations” being discussed—that is an amazing rabbit hole perhaps dating back to the 1930s—even before the modern intelligence agencies existed.
I didn't know this witness, but Michael Gold is a member of NASA's independent study team on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). He has previously served as an associate administrator at NASA and currently works in the commercial aerospace sector.
I am familiar with retired Admiral Gallaudet. He served 32 years in the Navy as Oceanographer and Commander of the Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command. His assignments included combat operations on aircraft carriers, counterterrorism activities with Navy SEAL Teams, antisubmarine warfare support, deep-sea research and development, NOAA Leadership, and Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere and Deputy Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
It’s pretty good so far.

Shellenberger has been trying to protect his source. I think he slipped up by mentioning the WH had data.
I wonder if it is someone at the WH—maybe National Security Council.

My speculation—previous hearings spooked the Pentagon and CIA/NSA, private contractors etal (think Majestic 12 type org) and they wanted to drag the WH into their quagmire and (probably at the insistence of in house legal counsel) started sharing stuff with the WH in the last couple of years.
Then—as they feared—the WH sprung a leak.
Elizondo dodged and weaved on the “communication with aliens” question—lol.
Congress is definitely asking good questions.
I am impressed—sometimes asking the correct questions is half the battle in this space.
Elizondo “we have no idea of the intent”.
To even know that you don’t know requires an awful lot of knowledge that Elizondo cannot possess.
The rebuttal would be any US government or contractor that did know the intent.
There is no way he could be briefed on all of that.
That is why some folks into this subject (fairly or unfairly) accuse Elizondo of lying.

You have to ask yourself, what is the REAL reason that they will not release the truth. So far, all of their answers are total bu!!sh!t.
