Why Kamala Harris Lost — And Why It Wasn’t Close
Rolling Stone ^ | 11/6/24 | Andrew Perez

Posted on 11/10/2024 11:25:39 AM PST by DallasBiff

Americans are deeply dissatisfied with the brutal economy, and punished Democrats over it.

It happened, again: Democrats lost a winnable election to a racist, orange-makeup-wearing carnival barker, despite his odiousness, immorality, and unbridled corruption. This time, Donald Trump campaigned on an even darker agenda — the mass deportation of migrants, calls for more violent policing, and demands of retribution against his enemies — and he didn’t have to try to steal the election in the courts or via a violent coup. In the battleground states, he appears to have run the table, and he will likely win the popular vote outright, something a Republican hasn’t done in two decades.

Him/it Andrew admits it was the economy, but can't admit the horrible economy, under Biden, was the defeat.

Him/it goes on tirade about "orange man bad", radical libs have no humility.

The economy made it easy to vote Trump, but I think the specter of things like a daughter coming home from school and announcing she is a he clinched the deal.

Their ideas lost.

It’s over for them.

The Rolling Stone is nothing but print Pravda; a means of holding on to the stoned f-tard gaming vote.

Rolling Stone hasn’t been worth anything in politics since Hunter Thompson left the “National Affairs Desk.”

He once humorously confronted NBC’s John Chancellor with “that was before we knew about you and LSD-25” as an explanation for NBC’s warped coverage of the Dem campaign in an open letter to the American people. I remember laughing out loud.

From Tampa Bay Times on Thompson:
“...he was most prone to exaggeration and twisted explanations of real but admittedly bizarre events. We can’t attribute John Chancellor’s and Edmund Muskie’s seemingly inexplicable moments in the 1972 election campaign to LSD or exotic drugs, but Thompson did, in a manner that somehow shows us what it was like to be there.”

Yep. Kamala’s fatal flaw was that she is a low IQ moron. Democrats tried to hide it like Biden’s senility. Trump nailed it.

Trump shows up once in 2016 with too much spray tan on and all they can talk about is how orange he is. One obscure reporter claims he has small hands and that becomes a minor talking point. We are dealing with children here.

Obviously. Larry Elder said it best: If Donald Trump is a racist, he needs to go back to racism school.

RS: “is plan to impose widespread tariffs on imported goods will raise prices for consumers.”

I saw analysis’s on MSNBC crying about how this will impact companies net profits.

Terrible! The US government collecting revenue from someone besides the long suffering US taxpayer?

This is HUGH and SERRIOUS!!!

“... to a racist, orange-makeup-wearing carnival barker, despite his odiousness, immorality, and unbridled corruption.”

I’ve heard some things about Clinton that would seem to include all of these except the ‘orange-makeup-wearing...’.

Just saying... ‘makeup’ doesn’t appear to be a qualifier or a non-qualifier.
