” a black Dodge Charger”
I know how this is gonna sound but I just can’t help myself......the “brothers” love those cars.
or MS-13 on LI.
Good thing they have really strict gun laws in NY-—it could have been worse!
(SARC)
Also, when this happens my state it usually means one of two things or both.
1. Drugs in the car
2. Driver had felony warrants
I think it is standard procedure for police to call in the license plate number before approaching a vehicle.
3. Illegal stolen handgun in the car.
This is why I don’t buy newspapers.
Yeah, it coulda been a lot of things.....just the 2 I listed are all too common where I am.
I think it may be standard procedure before even pulling someone over.
I’ve had my plates run a couple of times.
I wasn’t violating traffic laws so I wondered if the LEO was looking for a car matching the description of the one I was driving, or checking to see if I had any DWIs. Because I wasn’t violating any traffic laws. I won’t tell you how I know that last one’s done.

More at the above. Temporary tags...?
He or she. Use of ‘they’ means more than one.
The writer is implying that the officer uses one of those nonsensical gender descriptions. The officer could be insulted or perceive this as libelous. If so, HE or SHE should demand an apology and/or sue.
Exactly.
“They” were shot indicates more than one. Who was number two?
“I AM SPEAKING”!!!!
Used to live off that exit.
Now looks like a corrupt cop who may have been shot, but not by a fleeing criminal.
