I remember when this lovely young woman co-starred on an episode of Star Trek (The original show).

She had quite a career. More than 50 years ago, she started out as a dancer in several of the Elvis movies. Then she was all over TV in guest roles, usually as a minor. supporting character.
Here's a look at her in Star Trek (The Original Series) in the Assignment Earth episode.

Makes me a little sad. Great actress and Young Frankenstein is one of the masterpieces of movies that is still funny today. RIP.

It put a smile on my face to hear someone else talk about it!
The scene where he goes into Terri Garr’s apartment and there are baited rat-traps all around her bed!
A dark comedy, indeed...:)

Yes. I did find her very attractive...I did not know she was 79. Always seemed...well...younger. I guess that is what happens when you get...well...older!

Teri Garr also played the mother in the 1979 movie
The Black Stallion.

My wife (also a blonde) lost a battle to breast cancer at 28 - my girls were 4 and 1 when she passed.
I instantly became a real life “Mr Mom” so the movie has always had a special place in my heart.
She was perfect as the quirky blonde in Martin Scorsese's hugely underrated comedy "After Hours".

Those scenes with her were so bizarre, but...somehow...there was some nugget of truth in them!
