Maybe now he’ll make the Hall of Fame.

Here’s hoping:
When I visited ages ago there was a board listing the all time hit leaders. Pete was at the top so in a way he is in the hall of fame. Just not officially inducted.
I think he’s officially still banned from baseball even though he’s passed away. Shoeless Joe Jackson is still on that list even though he died decades ago.
Amd the significance of that is that If they are on that banned list, then they’re not eligible for the hall of fame.
You can bet on that.
They let murderers in the hall of Fame but betting on your team is unforgivable. He is in the top nine players of all time. And he would be leadoff hitter.
There is only one unforgivable sin that would keep you out of heaven. Not believing the Jesus is the way, the truth, and life.
For God’s loved the world that whosoever believeth in him shall have eternal life.
All other sins could be forgiven.
