I still have my Orange 1979 Midget, in my garage and yes it runs and drives...
“and yes it runs and drives...”
That’s a rare commodity my friend......every one that I’ve ever seen was a pizza chit.
As I understand it, you can increase reliability by replacing components like starter and alternator with Japanese manufactured ones......is that true?
I have a Tahiti blue 1974 Midget in mine and it’s a driver as well
I had an orange (factory called it Tangerine) 1970 MG Midget. It was a good little car. Then later I had 1974 MG Midget in Tahitian blue and they had gone to a dual side draft carburetor and it was a real dud. I got rid of it and got a mustang.
I had a lot of fun in that car.. :)
Good for you!
I still have my 1967 MGB roadster, which I bought new in 1966, sitting in my garage, too. It last ran about five years ago.
I sure need to bring it back to life :-).
Took my driver’s test in a convertible MGB. Parallel parking was a breeze :-)
