"Leonid & Friends," the Russian cover group, has just released a new Chicago cover, "Baby What a Big Surprise". This right ahead of their Fall tour of the US. Take a listen.
Leonid & Friends – Baby, What a Big Surprise (Chicago cover)
Cool. Listen later.
Great band.
Dayum. Wow.
That was just as good as the original Chicago version.
I am waiting for them to do “Harry Truman” and EWF’s “That’s he Way of the World”.
I just got tickets to see them live in November. My first live show since Del Shannon in 1990 (just before his death).
Hope to see them and speak to a few of them once again.
Always a great show!
Friend stated, you know who even does a better cover of Chicago? Chicago!
Sounds good! Not hard given an infinite number of musicians at your calling.
They are outstanding and always a great listen!
Thank you. I was blown away by the quality of the covers by this group. And they are fun to watch, too.

I follow their tour dates. If they ever hold a concert within 150 miles of me - I’ll be there.
If you like Leonid and Friends, you’ll like what Tommy Shaw is still doing.

Saw a clip of the gal doing Karen Carpenter’s Superstar. Very nice.
Karen Carpenter sings better.
The other one has a too much cry/whine in her singing.
The Leonid & Friends playing of instruments was better as they emphasized the acoustic guitar and other instruments.
