That doesn’t surprise me....it’s Canada!
Enjoy your trip. I worked at the Banff Springs Hotel years ago. It’s beautiful out there. IIRC the Bow River runs right behind the hotel.
We were in Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper and Lake Maligne a year ago and loved it. So we came back and are splurging on the great hotels this year.
We hiked the Bow River in Banff last year. It was wonderful because a short walk out of town got us into some gorgeous country past the Banff Springs Hotel.
We just spent two days at Waterton and spotted a male Bighorn Sheep, a female black bear and her cub. The sheep are coming down to lower elevations now that most of the tourists are gone.
A great great uncle homesteaded on the Bow River at Bow Island east of Lethbridge around 1910!
My little sister just went to Banff! Not sure where she stayed but she loved it! Late June. She had a blast.
Mom and Dad would be proud of her. They dragged us kids all around North America looking at every beautiful place. We tent camped for most of it. I never made it to Banff, but I’m so glad my sister and BIL went to see what all the *fuss* was about. Mom and Dad loved seeing the sights!
