Over the last ten years or so I estimate that, at most, a few hundred have bought homes here. Most of them are Brits though there are several Americans and a few Norwegians too. The vast majority of them use them as vacation homes spending just a few weeks per year here.
My wife and I socialize with exactly two of them - a nice, low key, American couple from Florida who spend the summers here.
