I’ve been trying to see what evidence was actually presented in Alex Jones’s trial and what discovery was allowed. I can’t find much except boilerplate reports. But at https://apnews.com/article/alex-jones-connecticut-lawsuits-shootings-school-c4cd4f3f1aa69a73659b639a6f8df521 it seems that the evidence they ordered Jones to produce was about his finances and computer analytics, not about the truth of anything he said or allowed to be said on his show. And it sounds like the only “evidence” the families presented was about Jones’s finances and about them receiving harassment. And actually, I don’t know if they showed texts or had any other physical evidence for their claims.
Sounds like the judges basically said that since Jones didn’t present the financial and computer analytics data, he must be guilty of defamation, without anybody going into any evidence regarding what really happened that day, or any of the reasons that Jones suspected the attack might never have happened.

At https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Q4kUKjRGRA in his press conference the coroner says the families did not get to see their loved ones but were given a photograph. The bodies were going to be sent to the morticians. So the claim in court by the father who said he held his child with a bullet wound to the head is not accurate, unless the mortician allowed that after the body was placed in the casket.
A FEMA tent was set up to put the bodies in until they were transported to the coroner’s office around 1am the next morning. That seems like a goofy timeline to me, given that the alleged shooting happened around 10am on Friday morning. Autopsies started at 6am on Saturday, he said. The presence of the FEMA tent would support the suggestion that there was a drill going on.
I’m wondering how many children were injured and taken to the hospital. Or are they claiming that a guy whose dad said he can’t even tie his shoes managed to kill everybody he hit?
Even after allegedly shooting himself, there was no DNA from Adam Lanza anywhere on the gun.
