Free speech does not mean you can slander people. He slandered the parents and they were able to show harm. The government didn’t stop him, the parents acted as a party on one side and he was on the other and he lost.
I do understand free speech and I think you do as well. Free speech does not protect you if you slander somebody and he slandered the parents.
