Because the LPU100 lacks electronics …Oh boy. Lasers are electromagnetic radiation. You can’t have laser emitters without “electronics” either.

My understanding is that Processing is electronic-less.
Current processing is done by moving electrons around.
In quantum computers, processing is based on electron spin.
My understanding is that photon processing requires less power than a laser pen and a fraction of the space.

That is my take, too, but it is pretty vaguely written.
Basically, it’s the smallest computer possible because you are eliminating transistor gates.
They are focused 100% on enterprise (business) customers.
The investors obviously believe there is a market for that.
