Don’ never dis a bro, bro - they will kill you - or whine on the web.
Was “Dad” the custodial parent? Did daddy have paper (exclusion order) on file at the school? There is another dozen or so related issues to divorced parents seeking to use the child or school as a **weapon** against the other partner.
My DW worked at a school full of little monsters for 30 years. Quite a few were felons, most had been tossed out of other schools for a reason - and their home life was a horror movie...with many parents either absent or doing battle for custody and the $$ to go with.
Bottom line - read these stories with a salt lick near at hand as they tend to be long on tears and short on facts.

The school officials were on a power trip. Too many school officials and teachers believe they are the real parents. Too many parents follow along like sheep. Bravo to this father for refusing to back down.
