Voting Shenanigans in Michigan

Michigan’s Governor Whitmer and the Democrat-controlled Legislature passed a slew of bills that make it easier to commit voter fraud and harder to uncover it.

In the 2022 mid-term elections in Michigan, voters handed control of the Michigan Legislature to the Democrats, giving them a majority in both the Michigan House of Representatives and the Michigan Senate -- something that hasn’t happened for forty years. Since then, they’ve been working hand in glove with our notorious Democrat governor, Gretchen Whitmer

SNIP

In November of 2022, Michigan voters also passed Proposal 2, a proposal to amend the voting procedures previously authorized in the State of Michigan’s Constitution. While the proposal passed with (ostensibly) 60% of the vote, the recent batch of bills purportedly written to implement the changes of Proposal 2 goes significantly beyond what was authorized by the voters.

The new legislation hands over verification of absentee ballots from an elected bipartisan board of inspectors to city or township clerks. They also significantly expand the powers of election clerks and the Secretary of State. For example, the Secretary of State can now dictate election procedures without going through the formal rule-making process. This greatly increases the potential for fraud and significantly reduces the safeguards against it.

According to Representative Ruth Johnson (R) Holly, MI, these bills remove every instance of the word ‘fraud’ in the previous law and replace them with the word, ‘error.’ Criminality of intent is thus effectively insulated from prosecution and the ability to address election fraud is stripped away. In fact, under Senate Bills 603 and 604, alleged fraud can no longer be used to request a recount.

I think 2024 could be an even greater disaster for republicans than 2020 and 2022.

What counter measures are the Republicans taking? You have to Starr with the assumption that Democrats will cheat whenever they can. Voter harvesting needs to be done. Rural and exurban counties controlled by Republicans must withhold reporting their results until the Democrat controlled urban counties submit.

All part of the long game to remove the electoral college or get states to commit their states to the winner of the nationwide popular vote. Run up the score with fraud in some states and impact the popular vote total.

I think 2024 could be an even greater disaster for republicans than 2020 and 2022.

Past cheating has been quite apparent.

The GOP did nothing.
The states did nothing.
The courts did nothing.
The people did nothing.

If the Democrats lose political power, they might be prosecuted for their many crimes. They can't face that. So they will cheat in 2024. Why would they not? They could cheat blatantly. Most likely, no one will do anything. And if someone tries to do something, the Democrats are the ones with political power -- they will crush trouble-makers and remind everyone about the previous "insurrection" and how no further "insurrections" in 2025 will be tolerated.

You can thank the Republican-controlled state legislatures of 2020 who rolled over and ignored election laws on the books and allowed Democrats to cheat with massive mail-in ballots and dropboxes in order to get rid of Trump. There was never any signature verification enforced, and once Biden was ahead in the count, any challenges in the court were either quickly shut down or are still mired in the lower courts.

RINOs are the worst kind of traitors. Democrats could not have stolen anything had it not been for compliant RINOs.

Democrat legislation to increase their opportunities to engage in vite fraud.

I live in Michigan.

I was here during "Covidtide."

I lost pretty much all hope and trust in the citizenry here.

She is lost.

When Republicans “go along to get along” with dems and allow unlawful behavior to have no consequences, they are just encouraging more of that behavior and it eventually leads to the criminal elements taking over. Once those criminal elements gain control of the respective government branches, the rule of law is basically eliminated, and rule by coercion takes its place. It’s a downward spiral after that. Michigan will now be circling the toilet bowl.

Sadly, true; basically the same in Arizona, Pennsylvania, Georgia...etc. sigh

Strong evidence of the growing threat of the 'Deep State' and the dissolution of the two party system. The 2020 election was fabricated to legalize the 'replacement' of our Constitutional Republic. We are fighting that battle now. The Dems have possibly minimized opposition by opening our borders to millions of non-Americans.

Like 1861, the future of the Republic is on the line.😬

I keep seeing that we, here in Michigan, voted ‘for’ much of this. Except nobody, across much of SE Michigan, seems to agree. The rest of the State is solid red.

November is going to be trouble.

Michigan another state destroyed by the Reynolds v. Sims USSC decision. Another example of proving the late Illinois senator Evertt Dirksen’s prediction correct1

We desperately need a test case brought to USSC to strike down Reynolds v. Sims! last resort would be doing it in a article V convention. I think striking down Reynolds v. Sims is more important then repealing the 17th Amendment or the 16th. It certainly would be easier to do.

Note Dirksen tried to stir up interest in an Article V when USSC made that disastrous republic killing decision!

Michigan GOP is one of the worst run organizations! Red Eagle Politics I’d a tier ranking on every states Republican ranking...and New York was ranked better...

I doubt that the voters gave the Democrats control in 2022. Theft is how communists gain control.
