It would be so G’D stupid if they were betting on baseball. Just think for a second what that could have cost Ohtani?

He can’t be that stupid and careless, so I’m inclined to believe what they’re telling us.

Look at the facts, it makes no sense.

An interpreter who is 10-15 years older somehow convinced a bookie to allow him to bet obscene amounts. (Bookies won't et you bet a lot, without some kind of proof).

Then, that interpreter, went to a bank impersonating him and made the transfer to an account under federal investigation? It was just that easy? Banks wouldn't know one of their richest and most famous customers, and had no security in place? Also, banks have risk management systems, that prevent you from sending to accounts under federal investigation.

My friend was telling me he went to his home branch a few weeks ago to make a transfer of $2000, and they didn't even let him, even though it was actually him. Banks are not that easy to dupe, especially on six figure transfers.
