"It’s no great loss to the world," Fred Goldman told NBC News.
death of O.J. Simpson drew immediate reaction around the country on Thursday, renewing public interest in his era-defining 1995 murder trial — and reviving painful memories for the families who were close to the events.
Simpson was acquitted of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, capping off what legal analysts described at the time as the "trial of the century."
Fred Goldman, Ron's father, told NBC News that the news of Simpson's death only further underscored his grief for his son, who was found stabbed to death outside Nicole's home in Los Angeles on June 12, 1994.

so sad that he died before he could finish tracking down the real killers!

I mark the OJ trial as the exact moment racial healing stopped in America
As does OJ, Fred Goldman will have to answer to his maker for his callous and grubby remarks. His dismissive and intemperate remarks regarding the death of his son’s presumed murderer cement his legacy as money-grubbing exploiter of his son’s death instead of grieving father.
Justice for the Juice!
Killer Coward At End
I agree with your take. Instead of taking the high road, of mourning his son, and moving on. He fixated on “getting OJ” instead of healing his grief and bring the family together. He was destroyed literally by his reaction to the murder. He was hurt emotionally by the murder, which you can get over with a little counselling and/or prayer. The HATE that burns forever, destroys your life and potentially your chance of life in the Peace of Christ.
I will never forget when the verdict was announced.
I was in a large open office and our gm had wheeled a tv in so we could watch.
the minute “not Guilty” was announced all the black guys jumped out of their chairs put a fist up and yelled “YES” while everyone else just kind of sat there.
Yeah, when the verdict was announced and blacks were dancing in the streets, something snapped in me. I haven’t felt bad about “racism” since that day.
Maybe Ron Goldman’s father can collect on his judgement now. It’s sad that he never received justice for the murder of his son.
I lost respect for Dershowitz being on the dream team. Anything for money...just as the Bible says.
I can’t imagine watching the murderer of my child get away with it and then not take the law into my own hands..
The father showed tremendous restraint in not avenging his sons murder with his own just us..
He is Jewish, IIRC.....
I pray he and his family find peace with what cannot be undone or changed.
Let’s see how you react if one of your children were murdered by a guy who then got off scot-free. Since the criminal justice system failed him the only other choice he had to get back at OJ for murdering his son was to go after OJ’s money. I can’t hardly blame him for that.
I had a very similar experience.
