It’s been nearly 25 years since Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were found stabbed to death outside Brown Simpson’s Brentwood, California, home. A quarter of a century is long enough to heal most wounds. But, for two members of the prosecution, their failure to secure a conviction against the man they believe to be responsible, the pain of that loss feels as fresh as it did the day a jury announced O.J. Simpson was not guilty of murder.
“Time doesn’t heal much of anything,” Christopher Darden said Saturday at the 2019 CrimeCon in New Orleans. Darden worked for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office at the time, and was a lead prosecutor on the Simpson case.

They lost the trial as soon as they moved the jury pool to the hood. Not Darden’s fault

Yeah I remember that, I think that it originally was to be in Santa Monica, 30 years ago, that part of LA was somewhat sane, not anymore.
Now may the full scope of the evidence be revealed? In the rewrite of the actual course of events in the indictment, the prosecution, the defense, and the legal review, this time without the hype and hoopla, and the “jury nullification” assessment of guilt or innocence.
There was also a very real probability that knife used was spirited away and disposed of in another part of town by person or persons unnamed in the trial, and their names are being withheld because of connections in high places. And the socks were never adequately tested for potential blood types.
Does anyone else wonder if perhaps OJ WAS innocent and the gloves not fitting and the Detective hx of racist language use was important to the trial?
If he was innocent, what was the motivation for railroading and innocent man, celebrity no less, into a murder conviction?
We will never know the truth unless OJ leaves behind a signed, notarized, written confession. There will always be those who say he killed them, those who say he was innocent, and, of course, those who did not stay at a Holiday Inn last night and are playing God. To this day, they make documentaries and write articles claiming Lizzy Borden did it or why she did not do it. OJ will be no different. Since I do not sit in judgment of others, May God rest his soul.
