I think the Bee author is confused about her 1997 question asking if the Mars Pathfinder succeeded in taking pictures of the American flag planted on Mars by Neil Armstrong in 1969.
I am almost positive that at some time in the past she was giving a speech and started talking about how we had landed on Mars.
