Pro bowlers became too good for the sport to he entertaining.

Lenghten the lanes maybe.would help?

Technology has ruined bowling. The right kind of ball can turn a mediocre 150 average bowler into a scratch bowler. Been going on for years.

I haven't bowled in about 30 years, after moving to North Texas from El Paso. I was pretty good, last average was 208, while winning the City's Men's title in the early 90s. LOL, the trophies are sitting somewhere in the garage.

I made my spending money as a scorekeeper in HS. I cleaned up during monthly semi pro tournaments in the SF Bay Area. I was making 40-50 bucks a weekend, in 1970 dollars, tax & FICA free.
