In a hearing yesterday, Biden's lawyers argued the charges were the result of partisan influence from Republicans after his client's plea deal with the Justice Department fell through last year. But the judge did not appear to buy the argument, citing a lack of evidence.

The California judge, Mark Scarsi, did not rule on the motion yesterday, but said he would come to a decision by April 17. If Scarsi rejects Biden's motion to dismiss the charges, the trial would likely begin in June, in the midst of the presidential election.
Does it really matter? The media will ignore it, and if forced to notice, will blame Republicans somehow. And even if, by some odd chance, Hunter is found guilty, he’ll be pardoned.
For the love of God. They showed newspaper clippings as evidence.
I think the unspoken response from Hunter is: "Do you know who I am???"
Since when did the lack of legal evidence ever apply to a Biden and most leftists?
Too bad it’s not the same judge who threw the book at Murdaugh yesterday.
As Murdaugh was whining about how his addiction to Opiates caused him to steal millions, the judge scoffed at this explanation.
“No truly impaired person could pull off these complex transactions,” the judge said of the maze of fake accounts, juggled checks and money movements that hid the thefts for nearly 20 years.”
SO??? If it is in the newspaper, it has to be true, no??
If I recall during the Impeachment of Clinton, his defense brought a large book that they claimed was evidence to prove his innounce. Later it was discovered
all it had was newspaper clippings in it.
“One of the big hurdles that this motion has is that
it’s not filed with any evidence,” the judge said of
Hunter’s desperate motion to dismiss the charges.
Hunter laughingly based his motion on his “plea deal”
with the Justice Department that fell through last year.
That astute judge saw through it.......deeming
it a concocted ruse to let Hunter go scot-free
