More than 17% of U.S. adults reported having ever experienced symptoms of long COVID as of February, according to the Household Pulse Survey.

Much has changed since the World Health Organization first called COVID-19 a pandemic four years ago today. As the U.S. enters its fifth year with the coronavirus, vaccines are available and have been updated to more closely match the spreading variants. Treatments and tests for the coronavirus are accessible. The U.S. government relaxed its coronavirus guidance and officially ended its national emergency declarations in perhaps the largest symbolic step away from the pandemic.

Maybe a smart freeper could make lyrics to the tune of the Beatles "Sgt Peppers".

It was 4 years ago today.

We entered the fifth year several months ago. They’re still pushing the lie that COVID-19 entered the US in March of 2020.

Can anyone prove they have “long COVID”? Seems like a disability scam or something.

I consider COVID to be the flu. Some people die of the flu. But I don’t think people get “long Flu”.

I know one person who says she has long covid, she was vaxed up with the astra zenica vax and lives in Cyprus, she keeps getting covid over and over. I know quite a few who are purebloods and none of them have long covid.

Laura Ingraham had a segment on Fox a while back in which a doctor discussed numerous patients of his with “Long vaxx”, long-term deleterious health effects because of the Covid vaccine.

Long covid = vax side effects

Prior to the vaccines, I would have said how the medical community "treated" COVID-19, which some admitted was poorly administered, was partly to blame.

I think you’re mistaken about long CoVid. Some people, including several FReepers, have had debilitating effects from CoVid that changed their bodies. Some were even very athletic, and are now unhealthy.

Those of us who only got colds, and got over it quickly, are blessed. I’m sure those afflicted with long CoVid would give an arm and a leg to have their old healthy bodies back.

I agree, all the symptoms they talk about are those of fake vax injured.

I guess I should amend this to say that for some, it could be a result of the so-called “vaccine”.

Funny thing, I know a few people personally who experienced this, and most got sick in November-December 2019.

If there was damage directly from the Flu or Covid-—then yes. For example, if the lungs were damaged I would consider this more of a casualty of an illness and caused by an illness.

But all this “brain fog, anxiety, etc” is total BS....and, I believe, like you said, more insurance scamming. If there wasn’t so much free money flying around due to “Covid”, people would have been back to work in a few days and it would have fell into the abyss with the “Hong Kong virus” and “East Asian flu”.

People have always died of the flu. Especially the elderly with other underlying conditions.

"Long" COVID is just another name for what we've had all along to describe people who are generally unhealthy in any number of ways.

If it's not the Fauci Flu "vaccines" or "climate change" that kills us, "l-o-o-o-ng covid" (actually, it's the "Fauci Flu, Part II") that will surely kill us all.

“”Can anyone prove they have “long COVID”? Seems like a disability scam or something.””

Chris Cuomo mentioned on his show last week that he has it but it wasn’t to announce it; it was more when speaking on another subject like it was a given and must be everyone knew it.

I have a stepdaughter who has something but I don’t know if it’s “long COVID” - came on after the vaccines...She so swallowed all the government propaganda and chastised me for not being a “believer” that there has been a cooling in our relationship since..She’s been unable to work, has to use oxygen, uses a walker, can’t drive, applied for and finally obtained SS disability. I live 3000 miles away and only have phone contact and what I get from other members of the family. I get calls from her on Mother’s Day and my birthday and I don’t raise the subject...

I read a few weeks ago the CDC has approved Covid booster NUMBER 9!

I know one guy who works for a hospital system whose work requires him to travel among their clinics and hospitals, who has had 5 boosters. He’s done it to keep his job, rather than out of willingness (although he isn’t afraid of the covid shots either)

That’s the most I’ve seen - even among the biggest woke a*****s I know

I’m wonder what other people are seeing.

I had COVID in September 2021, refused the vaccine despite constant pressure from physician, and ended up having to find a new job rather than get the jab even though I was working renote at the time. For about three months after getting over COVID, couldn’t smell or taste anything; month four came with all sorts “weirdness”: coffee smelled like chemicals, beef and chicken tasted rancid, the smell and taste of garlic and onion, which I used to love, drives me out of the room. Same for my wife; 2 1/2 years some things have improved slightly, but nothing is as it was before... just bizarre - believe it is called Parosmia.
