I’ve been across that bridge. You can feel it bounce with the weight of the traffic. Once I got caught in a traffic jam on the George Washington Bridge heading into Manhattan. Thousands of cars were at a standstill on the upper deck.
I couldn't believe how much the bridge was bucking up and down all the time.
