I suspect Kazakhstan is going to have something to say about Russia getting to Uzbekistan. It is 520 miles from the border of Russia to Uzbekistan which is just under the distance across The Ukraine.
I suspect Putin will not live long enough to annex Uzbekistan, if he continues to remain stuck in Ukraine.
