When my daughter was two, we were at a restaurant and the little monster was chowing down on bread while waiting for our order. She froze up and turned blue. The waitress grabbed her immediately and Heimlich wrenched her. Bread came flying out across a few tables.

It was right around the Buddy Ryan famous pork chop incident.

I once did the Heimlich maneuver on someone - she was choking on sourdough bread. I wonder how often bread is the culprit.
