The only reason the first one made a billion is because it was sandwiched between the two final Avengers movies. M-She-U has been struggling badly since Endgame.

Iger was brought back by the board to weaken Disney just enought to break it up and pass any antitrust invest -- and make themselves nearly a billion in the process -- which will be necessary for Apple to get Disney+ (or whatever it is in 2025 after the Hulu merger), and the studios, and the catalog, etc. Universal will likely take on the theme parks, although a bid from PIF is possible, maybe fronted/bearded by Roy P. Disney.

British actor Tom Hiddleston is done with them. The second season of Loki is the end of his 14 year relationship with Marvel.

The only part of this woke mess I have any feelings for is the the total destruction of Star Wars. I was 18 and less than a year in the Air Force when the original Start Wars came out (It didn’t have that “episode IV crap attached to it) and it was a great getaway from the pressure of my duties. I enjoyed the next two just because it was nice to forget the pressures and get into a world of Vaders and Skywalkers.

All the other movie story lines could disappear for all I care. I never read comic books and always thought it amazing that grownups would watch movies about comic books. Yes, I know they may have correlation to the Science Fiction I read as a child but comics totally disinterest me.

I still think it is horrendous that these corporations think they should have the moral authority to not only destroy recognized brands but to think normal people should have to suffer their propaganda.
