Whether or not that happens depends upon how long the LORD tarries. There may be time for a respite. But the Bible clearly teaches that before the rapture, it will be as it was in the days of Noah. In those days, “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually”. Genesis 6:5. I’d say we’re about there now, but perhaps not 100%. And once the rapture comes, the man of sin, the Anti Christ will appear on the scene. Then the real evil will begin, worse than anything ever seen on this earth. Unimaginable. “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened”. Matthew 24:21,22.
Someday regretting their actions? Not a chance, Patriots will be suckers for forgiveness. It is our weakness, or was in the past. Even now they speak of only being proportional in killing the enemy. With US, they empty their magazines and throw survivors in prison.
