Are reports of consciousness after death believable? Moreover, are they scientifically credible? A new film from Angel Studies, After Death, investigates these questions by interviewing people in near-death situations. These subjects report encountering exquisite beauty, loved ones, and even the ability to see their physical bodies from a disembodied vantage point after death. Many doctors and neuroscientists are admitting that these testimonies are hard to dismiss through materialistic explanations. The movie is out today and offers a compelling revelation of the evidence for life after death. Take a moment to watch the trailer and consider seeing the movie in full:

Angel Studios are Mormons. Watch it with your windows open, but your screens down. Just sayin’.....
Seeing it tomorrow.
I was thinking exactly the same thing. Those watching should understand that Angel Studios, a Mormon organization, is distributing this film.
I have several friends who will be seeing it this weekend. It's a hard pass for me.
I have no doubt that there is life after death. Eternity: smoking or non-smoking? Choose wisely.
And yet, the many times a note has been left on top of a cabinet, the patient has never been able recount what it said. In spite of being able describe other things there in detail.
I didn’t hear anyone complaining when they produced “Sound of Freedom.” It’s the content that counts. I know at least one testimony was also shown by a regular Christian ministry, if that helps. I have tickets to see it and am looking forward to it.
I hope those of you who see the movie come back and post a review.
I am not Mormon, but I had some out of body experience long time ago.
Kind of starting on this trajectory of leaving body and observing myself, but I returned quickly. I had quite shorter trip than some others.
BTW, out of body experiences predate Mormon Church.
There are well documented cases when Medieval Popes visited people with near death experiences. Similar experiences.
There are even some renaissance painting that describe these experiences.
There is indeed an afterlife and there is as well is there a purpose to our being. To such a mystery to many and in my NDE’s thoroughly shocking.
Now the rub....
Our minds can not bring back the afterlife without filling in the details as we do not have the capacity to explain that actuality.
So most experiencers that sell their moments in this new life will fill in the wholes that they either can not remember or can not describe adequately.
Also as well there are many I have met in the community that will flat out fabricate in order to advance an ideology or their bottom line.
Take caution but know there is indeed a place to call home.
Oh, I will. I am seeing it tomorrow. I did have an NDE.
44 years ago I had mine. Still see it today like it just happened...
For those who have had it they know it is very real, unfortunately they can also be deceived or used by deceivers. So mixed bag, better stick with scripture, and not by a faux christian cult.
Well put! I second that! Amen!

I said I would report back after seeing the movie. I enjoyed it. It is thought provoking. Yes, a few of the people relayed Christian experiences but an atheist, after his NDE, became a minister as did a few others. And not all of the NDE experiences were pleasant. One recounter was a Buddhist. I recommend seeing it, then make up your own mind. My NDE was very brief. I was in dimness and about to take a step forward. A voice to my right and behind me said, “Do not go there. It is not your time.” I was not scared, I felt peaceful. Next memory was opening my eyes and seeing my husband. I was told it was a “miracle” that I recovered.
