He was only wrong in the beginning, because he expected Russia to go in like gangbusters, and he wasn't expecting the EU, the US, the UK & NATO intervening on behalf of Ukraine.

Putin's entry into Ukraine in the manner that he did, surprised a lot of military strategists worldwide.

But if yo believe he is wrong, and that Ukraine is on the offensive, and all is going well. explain why Zelensky just got rid of 6 Deputy Defense Ministers? That is not something you do when you are experiencing success on the battlefield at all. That would be something that you do when things are going poorly.
