Maybe the Texans objected to the drones in the original article Drudge linked and it was pulled/scrubbed. But what if police could 'ride along' on someone else's drone and the public wouldn't know?
So who's to say that the drone going over your backyard party is not just delivering commercial purchases but is also, like Amazon Ring cameras, available to be monitored by police? "Look! A Drone! We're being watched!" Reply: "Oh, no, it's just making a delivery...."
