Georgia State Senator Colton Moore has called for an emergency session to review the actions of Fani Willis, the Fulton County district attorney prosecuting former president Trump for allegedly tampering with the state’s 2020 presidential election results.
In a letter to Gov. Brian Kemp (R), Moore said the Georgia Legislature can convene a special session as 3/5 of both chambers have signed on to the effort.
“We, the undersigned, being duly elected members of the Georgia House of Representatives and Georgia Senate, and comprising 3/5 of each respective house, pursuant to Article IV, Section II, Paragraph VII(b), hereby certify to you, in writing, with a copy to the Secretary of State, that in our opinion an emergency exists in the affairs of the state, requiring a special session to be convened under that section, for all purposes, to include, without limitation, the review and response to the actions of Fani Willis,” Moore wrote.
A probe into Willis’s prosecution of Trump could lead to the impeachment of the district attorney, Breitbart reported.
“We must strip all funding and, if appropriate, impeach Fani Willis,” Moore, vice chairman of Georgia Freedom Caucus, said in a statement.
“America is under attack,” Moore wrote on X. “I’m not going to sit back and watch as radical left prosecutors politically TARGET political opponents.”
The indictment levied by Willis includes: violating the Georgia RICO Act; Solicitation of Violation of Oath by a Public Officer; Conspiracy to Commit Impersonating a Public Officer; Conspiracy to Commit Forgery in the First Degree; Conspiracy to Commit False Statements and Writings; Conspiracy to Commit Filing False Documents; Conspiracy to Commit Forgery in the First Degree; Filing False Documents; and Solicitation of Violation of Oath by a Public Officer.
Earlier this week, Trump announced that he would share an “irrefutable” report on Monday proving there was enough fraud in the state to change the outcome of the election.
The Republican 2024 presidential frontrunner faces up to 76.5 years in state prison if convicted on all of the charges in the Georgia indictment.
“I’m sick and tired of these weak so-called leaders telling us to sit down and be quiet,” Moore stated in a video posted on social media late Thursday afternoon. “We have to take action.”
I wonder if AGs from other states could charge her with interfering with their elections?
Its about damn time Republicans started actually fighting back for the first time.

Thank God somebody is!

Still no help from the RNC!
This has been going on for decades starting with Bush I, then Clinton etc... Obama just kicked it into overdrive. Yet GOP voters keep sending the same a$$hats back to DC thinking this time it will be different. It is time for new blood, we need fighters not the pussy's who make up the GOPe. I firmly believe that McConnell, Graham et al are just as dirty as Joe Biden. They are getting rich North of Richmond while we struggle and they don't care because they have job security. Time to endure the pain for an election cycle, dump the GOP and go totally independent until we have some people in office willing to fight back.

While I doubt that will happen, it’s nice to see them try. :)
Possible crimes committed by Fani Willis might include:
<><>violating the Georgia RICO Act;
<><>Solicitation of Violation of Oath by a Public Officer;
<><>Conspiracy to Commit Impersonating a Public Officer;
<><>Conspiracy to Commit Forgery in the First Degree;

State issue. RNC has no business being involved.
Good.
The Democrats are killing this country so they can put more stolen money in their pockets.
Since Trump is a resident of Florida, the Florida AG can Criminally Prosecute her for Deprivation of Rights and a whole host of other related crimes, including a RICO act charge
Butt Sistah, Big Fani has to go. I’m tired of hearing her tell President Trump, “I’ll Sock It To Ya, Baby”.

Drag Judge McAfee into the RICO charges since he worked on the investigation for 2 years before he was appointed to the bench.
EC
Good catch.
Kemp won’t do a thing. He is part of the establishment and backs the indictment 100%.
Many are about to find out just how corrupt and liberal Republican parties are at the state level. This effort will be crushed by the party leaders and Kemp.
