No, Hawaii fires weren’t set intentionally to turn Maui into a ‘smart island’
The wildfires in Maui, Hawaii, had killed 96 people as of Aug. 14, making it the deadliest U.S. blaze in the past 100 years.
Many social media users are spreading baseless conspiracy theories about the origin of the fires, which began Aug. 8, saying they were set intentionally by the government for nefarious reasons.

Maybe Klaus Schwab will move his World Enslavement Forum there and make it his HQ ,LOL
The Maui properties of billionaires had the brush cut back from power lines, the power turned off when the 70 mph winds started, and the water remaining on during the blaze, courtesy of the local government.
The Maui properties of peasants had brush growing all the up to the houses and power lines, the power remained on when the 70 mph winds started, and the water turned off during the blaze, courtesy of the local government.
The billionaires’ properties survived, the peasants’ didn’t.
Many of my neighbors now have swimming pools.
A swimming pool, a Goulds pump and some building sprinkler heads could protect a property well.
I figured this was another far-left, RAT Commie scam. There has been a lot of that going around the last few years with O’Bama and Soros pulling the pedophile’s strings by keeping his refrigerator loaded with ice cream.
Maui fires are part of an intentional effort to rebuild the island into a “smart island.”
/\
Maybe, maybe not.
But there have been plans and meetings and hawaiian gov press releases for the smart city and islands before the fires hit.
” Never let a crisis go to waste” SOP will certainly expidit it though.
Watch.
Never believe anything until the Fact Checkers deny it.
The fires might as well have been intentional as dreadful environmental policies contributed to what appears to be 1000+ deaths.
Water pressure got lost when fires melted soldered pipes.
Spring loaded-shutoff valves held open plastic or lead straps could have stopped water pressure loss.
Spring loaded-shutoff valves held open BY plastic or lead straps could have stopped water pressure loss.

“The billionaires’ properties survived, the peasants’ didn’t”
Any videos showing that?
In any event the long-term lesson is that an individual, family, or small unit must not totally rely on any level of government.

“Maui County warned residents in a Facebook post that ‘strong winds may lead to property damage. Winds may blow down trees, power lines and roofs. Power outages are possible.’”

Some people are just too dumb to believe them.
Just the fact that they feel the need to deny it makes me suspect that that’s exactly what happened …..
ahh
..another “disinformation campaign by globalists networks conspiring with social network platforms and the fbi, to convince the electorate that this is only a right wing Russian conspiricy....only to have it proven true in 2-3 years.
I’m sure it will be a great opportunity for Oprah’s land acquisition deals. But that’s simply a coincidence.
Although I don't doubt the level of depravity of this group, in the Maui fire case it sounds like they didn't need to set any fires. This disaster was created by either gross, or planned, incompetence. Not cutting back the grasses/weeds, and tree branches, from the power lines was an invitation to a fire whenever strong winds came through. And when the strong winds came through (due to a known hurricane down south) - to not shutdown the power lines was another case of either gross, or planned, incompetence.
I don't think the fires were started on purpose - by someone with a can of gasoline - but it was a disaster waiting to happen (at the appearance of some strong winds). This disaster was due to malfeasance in not providing rudimentary precautions (by clearing the foliage away from the power lines), and not reacting properly - by shutting down the power when the winds were strong.
Whether this malfeasance was due to incompetence, or planned, I don't know. But yeah, the people you mentioned are evil.
