Pomeranian?

The officer should have kicked it into the other room. No need to discharge a weapon in the house if you can avoid it.

Rings your ears and you won’t eat the Pomeranian.

5.56mm

Have you ever been to Spain? To the running of the Pomeranians? Brutal little ankle biters they are. Everybody runs. If you fall, they mob you and . . well some survive but it ain’t a pretty sight.

A nice punt. But those critters are pretty harmless, mostly all noise, sorta like what my dad calls small dogs like that as Redneck burglar alarms. Chihuahua’s the same thing.

> Some people are incapable of making critical life and death decisions on the fly. <

True that. I also wonder how much of the problem stems from some sick psychological need to use a gun. As in, “I’ve got a gun. I train over and over to use that gun. So by golly, if I can use my gun, I will.”

Don’t get me wrong. America needs their police. But it’s a two-way street. We need to support the police. And the police need to behave in a professional manner, always.

The word “always” is the key there. 95% isn’t good enough. It has to be always. Anything less, and the police will lose the support of the people.

It’s just like with an airlines pilot. A careless crash into a mountain won’t do. Any careless crashes won’t do. Professional behavior, always.

An eight pound dog, and the cop shoots at it?

I knew a couple that bought two of them. The big one was frightened by their cat, jumped over the back of a chair, and broke its leg when it hit the floor.

I’m staying at my daughter while I pursue chemo treatment. She has a Pom that I “dog-sit” while she is at work.

He is probably the smartest dog I’ve ever known, and a natural empath. He’s far less of a barker then any of the various breeds of dog in my neighborhood - and he doesn’t strike up a conversation with neighborhood dogs when they start howling.

When he hears an intruder at night (we have lot of coons and coyotes) he comes to me to tell me about it rather than stand at the back door and yap. He does get a bit carried away when my daughter comes home from work ;’}

The idea of casually shooting him as an annoyance, much less any kind of threat makes my blood boil.

I have seen several stories of cops shooting pet dogs this year. What the heck is going on, are they training the cops to do this? Very strange, very scary.

Ricochet. The walkway to the house is made of pavers. Caught an edge and deflected back towards her. It is pretty clear the shot was low and to the right of her. Also, a direct hit would have been through and through. Still incredibly irresponsible

Sovereign immunity; Followed procedure; To make an omelette one has to break a few eggs; Good shoot; The single most important thing above absolutely everything else is that our officers come home safely tonight; We investigated ourselves and cleared ourselves of any wrongdoing.

Any questions?

Later in the video, Williams claims one of Hight’s dogs scratched her - instead of her being shot.

Since they removed the bullet from her wound I now understand why this brave cop was so scared of the dog. The dog obviously shoots bullets out of it's paws.

Yes.

It has been going on for decades. Police shoot dogs. They shoot dogs that are running away. They shoot dogs that are chained in their own yard. They shoot dogs that are in houses they have entered without a warrant and the dogs are with the children of the house. They let dogs out and then shoot them for being out. They came to a house and wanted to search it for a suspect (no warrant) the owner gave permission but asked that he be allowed to lock up his dogs. They said no and shot the dogs.

They just shoot dogs.

Shooting at a Pomeranian; one of those tiny PURSE DOGS, right?

So tiny you practically have to chew their food for them, RIGHT?

I’m sure the deputy was just terrified for his life, RIGHT?

So many questions and apparently no answers!

So why don’t they get rid of the IDIOTS, unless your trying to say that the rest of them are to STUPID to recognize the IDIOTS!

You can reply any way you like, STILL DOESN’T ANSWERE THE QUESTION!

As an employer I got rid of the dangerous fools in my department, they were a danger not only to themselves but to everybody else on the crews.

Construction can be a dangerous job, and accident prevention is a primary concern.

STUPID UNCONTROLLED PEOPLE MAKE IT EVEN WORSE!

Any organization that suffers dangerous fools on their roster deserves to be sued out of existence!
