Good post. Pence is playing his role well, whatever it is, but there was something about him that never sat right with me. Did the rotten DC power brokers force Trump to choose Pence as VP to gain advantage? Indiana wasn't a battleground state. Trump beat Hillary there in 2016 56.5% vs 37.5%. For the record the battleground states in 2016 were FL, NC, Wisconsin, Arizona and Pennsylvania.
Does anybody else remember Obama telling Trump not to hire Flynn? We can talk about the Ryan letter, Flynn's firing, and Chris Miller calling Pence a "mentor". It doesn't make any sense but, I took the mentor comment like a red flag warning regarding Pence. Then I found out much later that Sec Chris Miller also supported sending weapons to Ukraine for the MIC. So what are we looking at? Why is Pence running for president and asking for a dollar to help his dead end campaign and planning on making the Sunday morning talk show circuit to bash Trump a little more? Is he working on a second challenge coin?

Possibly. The challenge coin you mentioned.
Pence looks like a virtue hustler for real, and now hawks print mechandise with “Too Honest”. Gad. How really nauseating.
Pence was a spy placement along with his feathered Chief of Staff, Mark Short. A deal made with McConnell & Ryan forces, in exchange for consent to some Trump appointments.
Chris Miller is a bigger mystery. Miller had a short run as a hero of some kind. Then silence, since. 🤔
