Serious Question, how much money or equivalent has USA sent to Ukraine since the war started?

Posted on 07/15/2023 12:35:58 PM PDT by MNDude

I haven't paid much attention to this for awhile. It is someone too demoralizing, but I see most 2024 candidates are falling over themselves promising to be the ones to send the support that Ukraine needs.

I could be wrong, but I thought I remember hearing we had sent $50 billion by the end of 2022.

Does anyone know what the figures are by now?

We will never know the true total amount because Congress does not care to know.

It's this kind of data I found for the first time in the following article:

"US taxpayers may be shocked to learn that as their families grappled with fears of Social Security’s looming insolvency, the Social Security Administration in Washington sent $4.48 million to the Kiev government in 2022 and 2023 alone. In another example of bizarre spending, USAID paid off $4.5 billion worth of Ukraine’s sovereign debt through payments made to the World Bank — all while Congress went to loggerheads over America’s ballooning national debt."

no one seems to inculcate Biden’s lack of moral integrity.

Well, no one cared about it in other elections, including 2020.

The reality is, for the people who voted for him, they just denied those issues.

And if the GOP wants to beat him, it has to focus on issues that voters who could go either way are open to.

I think they’re closing in on 10% of the entire military budget.

Let’s use the Theory that Ukraine is used to wash money for certain Western groups. Let’s also assume that any bureaucracy and/or government kept records of these alleged transactions. You understand that documents of such transactions are very valuable in order to make sure deals are honored, thus the main reason to document these types of transactions.

Now how desperate would groups benefiting from such transactions be to maintain the secrecy of such transactions? Plus, how motivated would certain entities seeking to damage said Western Groups be to gain those transaction records for their own purposes?

Does this explain the Urgency we are seeing in arming and defending Ukraine?

An equally serious question is how much of it has been looted and has gone missing and remains unaccounted for and where it went?

Feb 2022, not 2023

115 B is authorised. Actually transferred is something else.

It’s not gobbledegook, it’s multiple newspaper articles, etc, covering different things at different times. If its the press its also likely to be confused.

You need a source that tracks things, or you can easily confuse yourself. The best at the moment is the German Kiel institute.

The Congressional Black Caucus needs to ask Brandon why all their reparations money is going to Ukraine.

100 billion / 32 million US born adult blacks = $3,125 each.

It shouldn't happen, but it would be interesting if "reparations" were doled out as a negative income tax: Establish the year or years, say 2025 and on for a time, during which years adult US born blacks declare their legal income for that year, look up their tax in the 1040 IRS tables, and that's their "reparations" amount - total refund of all withholding, no actual tax. You'd never see so many ghetto punks happy to work. It would probably create a lot of fake businesses too, with declared earnings accounting for all the otherwise non-legal (or even non-existent) income. Blacks would appear to be the wealthiest group in America.

Of course then the American Indians will want a cut of every county's property tax haul, in perpetuity. Watch the counties scream and squirm then.

It’d be a nightmare, of course. Just surprised that even the Black Congressional Caucus isn’t batting an eye as we continue to spend billions we don’t have to solve/stoke the rest of the world’s problems.
