Yes, hateful and cruel. 😡
Many people died alone without any compassion or kindness shown to them.
They were not even "allowed" to have clergy visit, to provide some comfort, in their last hours.
And to add still more suffering- families were not able to bury their dead, or were subjected to severe, and outrageous "restrictions" of their loved ones funerals.
All of these vicious acts were done deliberately, to frighten and deceive everyone.
There have to be Nuremburg type trials.
NEVER FORGET!

Yes. My 83 yo uncle died and the graveside funeral was outside, way out in the country, and only immediate family were allowed to sit together by the grave. Everyone else, about 40 people had to sit and watch from outside the cemetery fence by our cars, nobody could hear what was being said. We all talked and hugged outside the fence. Made zero sense. The funeral home was adamant that the rules be followed or they’d lose their license. What a crock.
Re They were not even “allowed” to have clergy visit, to provide some comfort, in their last hours.:
This. Alone and drugged up, intubated—so they couldn’t even speak. How many souls died with their burdens unexpressed, their sins unabsolved, their final words and blessings to their families ungiven?
They were culled.
Never forget.
Well said.
I have a niece who is a nurse and was working in a nursing home during that time. It broke her heart that she was the one holding a patient’s hand as that person died. She still tears up when she speaks of the travesty of allowing a person to die without being able to see the face of a loved one.
