Am I the last guy on the planet who doesn’t have cameras pointed all over his house?
I have a single camera pointed at the pen where we keep our dogs. Other than that, cameras are useless. They show you a crime in commission. They don’t stop crime.
I have door cameras that down load to a private server.
While I do not expect trouble if it comes knocking I want to have it recorded.
Both police and criminals have made outrageous claims about home owners that were proven false by footage recorded by home security cameras.

Normally just get alerts for wild life or the delivery guy.
But once it did pickup someone who was really really lost.
Sheriff lives in the next house over from me. When I called him he said “already putting my boots on. Your not home so when he went by and didn’t come back I figured something was up”
Turned out dude was really lost and his GPS decided the end of a gravel road in the middle of nowhere 25 miles from where the guy wanted to be was a good place to bring him.
