I know we're all excited to go see "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny," the fifth installment in the 40-year-old franchise and yet another beloved series that Disney is using to push a woke girlboss agenda while trashing and debasing the legacy characters that we all know and love.
Oh wait, we're not interested in seeing that?
That's right: Throw in those marketing costs and other odds and ends and you're looking at what could be close to a $500 million price tag for this thing. Half a billion dollars. That's a lot of money.
For a studio to recoup that kind of monstrous budget, the dang movie needs to hit the ground running. It needs to start sweeping the box offices on opening night. Heck, even 2008's boring, useless Indy installment "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" netted $100 million in its first three days.
"Dial of Destiny" looks set to capture barely two-thirds of that.

To be clear, theres really just one main person and that person has been doing it for 10 solid years. Its so bad all hollywood studios have essentially blacklisted this person from working for or with them on anything. The person turned into a woke franchise killer. Its even worse than this, as they have lied to the original creators they would keep true to their vision and characters (ie preserve the legacy/stories), and then did the opposite. And the originsl creators were NOT cool with it. This person actually hates the story/character creators, they hate the franchises they destroyed, and they hate the fans who love those charscters and stories. The fans hate what this person has shoved down their throats, and aren’t paying to see these characters have this occur to them.
That person is Kathleen Kennedy. Shes a liar. She lied to George Lucas’ face that she cherised what he created and would stay true to his vision in the new stories. She destroyed Star Wars. She destroyed Indiana Jones. Everyone in hollywood has seen what she’s done and they want no part of her. She had the gall to start up her own production company WHILE still working at Lucasfilm. Yku don’t do crap like that. She blames the fans for not liking the garbage she’s churned out.
No one will touch her. She is a franchise destroyer. Fans hate what she produces.

All the wokeness aside, the star of this action movie is Harrison Ford. And Harrison Ford is 80 years old.
Aw, come in now. I wouldn’t mind going to a lecture given by Ford, one where he might discuss his long film career. But I have no interest seeing the old duffer jumping around, and beating up bad guys 1/3 his age.
And I say that as an old duffer myself.
Side note: Yes, I can still beat up bad guys 1/3 my age. But I’m super fit, given that I lift weights a couple of times a month. Mr. Ford probably doesn’t do that. 😏
Leave him alone, let Disney die with or in spite of him. Disney needs a hard lesson with their bottom line and I hope it comes quickly. Listening shareholders?

We’re witnessing the rise and fall of gender diversity studies and their ideas expressed in entertainment. There is nothing interesting in victim types.
I haven’t seen the movie so let me ask the following two questions.
1. Is she the director of the film or an actress playing a role in the movie?
2. If she’s not the director but an actress, why didn’t the director get her under control?
She runs Lucasfilm. So she can dictate what projects they do, and what will or won’t be in those films/tv series.
Not a movie goer anymore.
But the last movie I saw was Mel Gibson’s “Hacksaw Ridge”.
It was fantastic because Desmond Doss was a phenomenal man on steroids.
Before that his “The Passion of the Christ”
Going this Sunday to see “The Sound Of Freedom”
Probably go see Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection”
Only go to movies that are worth seeing.
