In my part of Washington, from the Kitsap Peninsula to Packwood where I commonly travel, the woods are in horrible shape. The most common problem is the brush has been allowed to choke out the bases of trees. Most of the trees are pecker poles, no good for anything but firewood really. After being logged, they allow the forest to grow naturally, instead of taking out trees that will be too close together to allow them to mature. Blackberrys, Huck and Salal, fill in under the trees and it is so thick humans cannot walk through it. I am sure this is purposeful, to allow Bambi and Thumper safety. 60 years ago when I was a boy exploring woods, this was uncommon. There were always trails travelled by game. It is very different in the 2,000’s. It is obvious this is a plan or policy.
My Uncles used to go into the woods freely, to “pick brush”. They made a good living in between being called out by the “carpernters or laborers” union. Now the policy is to put up gates, it really started with WJBClinton and his wilding policy. They shut off DNR land, and even put up keyed gates where peoples homes were in the area. It makes it harder to hunt where shotguns were the choice for Deer and bear, because of brush. Now? You had better be careful, bears can stay hidden, and can be very near to you. Plus of course, they disallowed using dogs to hunt bear and cougar...it is not fair to the animals. It is VERY dangerous to go hunting for those two game animals without dogs though.
It’s not only intentional, they know this style of ‘managing a forest’ creates the perfect environment for out-of-control fires.
Someone needs to tell these stupid people (democrats) that Bambi and all Bambi’s little friends (including Thumper) die in these large fires. And that these fires add more pollution to Mother Earf...
These white liberal idiots also killed the fun of enjoying a fores. So much has been destroyed based on liberal brain dead ‘science’. Maybe the key is to raise lots of money and pass it around to Biden and Hunter and the thugs and goons in the FBI and DOJ.. buy them like everyone else buys them.
