Wagner Group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin said Saturday he has ordered his fighters to halt their march on Moscow and return to their bases in Ukraine to avoid bloodshed.
Prigozhin's announcement seemingly puts an end to what observers called the most significant challenge to Russian President Vladimir Putin's regime in his 23 years in power.
In audio posted to social media, Prigozhin said that while his troops were just 120 miles from Moscow, he chose to turn back to avoid "shedding Russian blood."

what we know: the uniparty, the neocons, and the mainstream media are all 100% in on Ukraine. Nothing any of them say should be taken at face value, it’s all propaganda. I mean, I read that Putin was on death’s door and about to be overthrown several times a year ago. Even if you too are all in on Ukraine (i am not, call me a Putin stooge if you wish, I Didn’t see a pressing US national interest in us getting committed in a proxy war) you can rake none of the news we see at face value.
This was probably one big psy-op by Putin and Wagner.
Here is what I think happened. There is an agreement between the US and Russia for a cease fire sometime last week.
