Wal mart could put the knickers in the middle of the women's clothing department but not it's right across the isle from the men's, not the boys mind you the men's.
Back in the day Stone and Thomas, JC Penny, Sears, K Mart and Montgomery Ward never did stuff like this. Women's/Girl's knickers were on the other side of the store away from the men's section.
What do you all think?
No way in Hell would I shop for bras and panties next to the men’s section. Stupid planning on Walmart’s part.
It’s Wal-Mart. Someone with the figure of Gisele Bundchen is not going to ship there.
So if they all do this then someone told them this was a winning marketing ploy.
I don't see how it would be but that is why they would do it.
Of course, Walmart has kept stores that ran at a loss open for decades so perhaps their executives are not that bright.
Nope. Disagree. There isn’t a right to privacy shopping in public. In the dressing rooms, yes. Browsing areas of the store for clothing, nope. If they want better separated areas for mens and womens clothes, go to a department store. They are often on different floors. Or at least have degrees of separation on the same floor. Walmarts and Targets never had department store layouts because its a bargain bin shopoing experience.
I wonder why they would do this?
I believe a lot of careful thought goes into store layout and product placement.
Department stores are not Walmarts. As I said in the previous posts.
It’s a neurotic complaint.
Who gives a @#£%? This is an issue?
Perhaps for people without enough real problems.
I agree with her.
Put the women’s underwear in Automotive then, and that makes it gender and food neutral.
What’s a girl? Why are underwear different?
sigh... First World problems!
Maybe putting panties and bras next to hunting section would be more fun.
It’s aisle….not isle .
……
She has a point.
Any thinking corporate marketing manager would instruct the store managers to place the young girl’s underwear near the ladies similar products. Just as those items have been placed in the past. Who made the decision to move them? It’s obvious that placing such items in the open area near groceries, or adjacent to men’s clothing is a deliberate ploy.
It seems that in almost every institution, the plan is to place young girls and boys in close proximity to adults who are interested in sexually preying on young children. I think it is a ploy to normalize sex with minors much as the same as calling pedophilia simply “Minor attracted persons”.
Thankfully this crap only happens in BLUE STATES. No way a Red State, like Texas, would permit it.
So nothing to worry about here!
no telling if it’s wally? or a woke store mgr...
Boys, girls...what’s the difference these days?
It is indeed not nice.
What is worst, is WalMart has gone to single dressing rooms. Guess where they ALWAYS are?
Right up at the bras.
So I have to send my son past the bras to try things on.
I hate these people.
But then, in the old days we had REAL department stores where they were separated. It’s too expensive to have walls and stuff, you know.
