The new documentary Surviving Socialism offers the warning that the United States is at a crossroads between freedom and “more government control.”
“A recent survey revealed that 70% of young people would support socialist candidates,” Tea Party Patriots Action Honorary Chairman Jenny Beth Martin told the Washington Examiner. “This was alarming because if young people knew the effects of socialism, they would understand that it consistently results in economic failure, loss of basic human freedoms, and the deaths of tens of millions.”
Surviving Socialism was funded and produced by the Tea Party Patriots Action group. It features firsthand accounts of people who have escaped socialism.
“It’s a warning to Americans of what will happen to our country if we truly become a fully socialist country,” Martin said. “And it makes the argument that we are headed in that direction.”
“I hope that people will watch this documentary and that they'll share it with other people, sort of as a warning sign of the two different paths that Americans have before us for our country,” she added. “Our solution for that is one of freedom and liberty and individual responsibility and opportunity, as opposed to more and more government control, which is what would happen with socialism.”

The republicans allowed this by never attacking the Department of Education and getting rid of it.

That was intentionally omitted in schools. The teacher’s unions are openly pushing for socialism. But that leads to communism. Guess the teacher’s unions weren’t educated about what happens to teachers who disagree with big brother.

That would not have stopped the communists’ infiltration into our colleges and indoctrinating future teachers.
A firm foundation would have helped and cutting funding to these leftists factories would have send a message. Our country is crap because of the weakness of the republicans. They have sold us out over and over again, playing games with the voters while sucking up to the donors.
I’d say more about the republicans but I don’t want to get kicked off for language. I’m absolutely furious with the traitors in power.
Sure would have slowed things down.

While he was working on his naturalization, he didn't have great English and couldn't drive, yet.
My mom would take him on errands and with her to the grocery store. The first time they went to the grocery store, she said he stood in front of the counters for produce and meat ... and he cried.
At first she thought he was ill. But he said that he had never seen abundance like that, in his LIFE.
He had a daughter who learned English very quickly and was a straight A student all the way through HS. She was a genius and LOVED the US.

It is never to late to tell the stories. If you can get one youth to understand that is a start.
Tell the stories of perversion LOUD and OFTEN. If you can just save one kid from it.........................
If they escaped socialism by coming here, I don’t think they are out of the woods yet.
In other words, socialism can't succeed without assistance from capitalism.
Especially when they blame the US Embargo for Cuba’s woes.
Cuba can trade with every other country on the planet, and yet, somehow, it’s all our fault.
We need a steady supply of opportunistic people from those countries. The US embassies can look up their backgrounds and make sure they’re not coming here to grift.
Even the Mariel boat lift was an overall positive despite the number of criminals and mental patients. Castro was allowed to flush his toilet.
The ‘steady supply’ should have been going all along. Instead we let the left advocate the ‘comprehensive’ B.S. Throw in the 1965 Kennedy Act and Reagan’s amnesty and tis is what you get.

In Russia, they REQUIRE that students learn just how horrific their Communist predecessor government was. In the US, the horrors of Communism is simply HIDDEN from kids. Virtually everyone on this site only learned the truth about Communism AFTER graduating high schools, but not in Russia...
