Bet you're wrong
The United Church of Christ is a mainline Protestant church of a particularly liberal and woke persuasion and, in their desire to be "anti-racist" they put out this inclusive desk calendar.
It's got kids of all different races holding hands and smiling. It's obviously meant to promote a message of racial equality. It's so dang cute.
The only problem? Yep, it's STILL racist.
Why, you ask? Well, the UCC explains in their OFFICIAL APOLOGY for the calendar.
Are you still confused? Yeah? Well, that's because you're not a racist and equity-obsessed weirdo.
Here's what the church is apologizing for.
The white children are in the center of the image.
This is LITERAL racism and CENTERING whiteness.
According to the racists at UCC, it's evil to have white kids drawn in the middle of the picture with children of color on the outside. Just a slight tilt in either direction and it would have been perfect.
But now they're racist.
This is a church that celebrates anti-racism, which is racial prejudice under the guise of virtue, promoting the horrific Marxist doctrine of equity. They're a cool church that I'm sure despises legalism.
Except in this area where if you have a cute picture of little kids at just a slightly incorrect axis then you're an evil bigot who must publicly confess your sins against the woke regime.
Auron MacIntyre said it best. Progressivism will hollow out your religion and wear its skin like a trophy.
This is a church completely captured by progressivism.
It's would be comical if it weren't so tragic.
It’ all in how you look at it.
Wow. How can people who look at that image and make that association manage to *live*, and not to choke to death on all the stupid bulls**t that’s bubbling up inside themselves?
Let me guess...the
White kid is at top.
And the bottom.................
Don’ see no yella fella in that circle!
me neither.................
No Native Americans?
Left UCC in the early 70’s as they left the Word of God and decided they would rather preach progressive reform than the Bible.
