Sadly, I believe that The Marines KNEW they would be the ones demonized and punished by their woke leadership if they defended themselves.
This Woke Sh!t has gotten way out of control.
I mentioned on another thread that the Marines as adults would be in a world of sh*t if they FUBARed up some minors. If the attackers were adults, the Marines would not be in trouble if they messed them up.
