Wokeness is the scripture of the religion of moral relativism. So long as the truth is discerned, and there is a belief in truth which is absolute, then relativism prevail. The truth is the truth. The scariest thing I ever hear is the statement “my truth”. It is as insidious as it is the ultimate in dangerous. There is only the truth. There are interpretations of it…but it does not change the absolute nature of it.

Sadly, they've been very successful at this. Here are some examples:
Using the term "sexual orientation" instead of "sexual preference" is woke.
Using “gender” instead of “sex” is woke.
Using “Black” instead of “black” is woke”.
Using “gender affirming surgery” instead of “genital mutilation surgery” is woke.
Using "Undocumented immigrant" instead of "Illegal immigrant" or "Illegal alien" is woke.
Saying that someone was "assigned" a sex (or worse gender) at birth is woke. A person's sex is recorded at birth, not assigned.
Using the term "equity" (equal outcome) instead of "equality" (equal opportunity) is woke.
Affirmative Action = quotas = discrimination = woke.
Even here on Free Republic some FReepers use the terms "gender", "sexual orientation", and capitalize "black" wanting to be oh-so-modern and hip.
The way to fight it is to refuse to comply. If a company goes woke you do business elsewhere. Even if you really like the company or their products. Make it clear, but polite, to any representative of that company why you will no longer patronize them. It may be difficult at times, but we can win this.
Seems to me that through out the course of history, e.g. WWI and WWII for example, the elites aka Government Leaders always got to the point where they wanted to rule the world. Fortunately then there were still enough “good” people in the world they were able put down those efforts. Now, I’m not sure there are enough world leaders that will be able to overcome the latest effort of the elites to accomplish that. The newest threats from the elites are centered around climate change, gender transition, gay rights, disinformation or misinformation and the rising crime rate. I believe before long the UN will be called on to occupy rebel countries like the US and restore law and order and enforce DEI rights.
Wokness will be our demise or theirs. One or the other.

“Woke” is a schizoaffective disorder. It fits the clinical description.
That question is up there with: “Will this cancer treatment be inconvenient”? Jeesh, calling Captain Obvious.
