“We understand that the path toward Better at Together looks different for every business,” the statement says. “At Chick-fil-A, Inc., our commitment is to approach this work with intention and humility, always believing the best in one another and striving for common ground. We’re early on in our journey, but we’re honored by the opportunity to steward our organization’s greatest asset – our people – and are energized by the road ahead.”
The statement was accompanied by another set of remarks from Erick McReynolds, Chick-fil-A’s Vice President and Executive Director of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).
Chick-fil-A restaurants have long been recognized as a place where people know they will be treated well. Modeling care for others starts in the restaurant, and we are committed to ensuring mutual respect, understanding and dignity everywhere we do business. These tenets are good business practice and crucial to fulfilling our Corporate Purpose.

Ah, a statement from a DEI officer. You can expect a lot of stupidity to come from a DEI officer.
Years ago.
They bowed the knee to the Rainbow Mafia in I think 2018.
They just do not not normally flaunt it.
Chick-Fil-A has gone woke, except on Sundays.
Lest we forget
Shoe shine boy’s company is not as based and as Christian as many Conservatives think.
IMHO, if a company has a DEI department, it should be avoided.
Must all whites “Shine Black People’s Shoes
With ‘Humility and Shame’” before the
dead children’s parts, mixed with chicken,
is forced on them to eat?
DONE WITH THIS PLACE, forever,
and used to like it.
is there any company anymore, which isn’t “woke”? Why do so many companies bend over backwards, to pander to the activists on liberal issue after liberal isssue? These companies brag about how they celebrate diversity and have reduced their carbon footprint, among other issues. Why do they feel compelled to do this in the first place?
Yeah, back since fall of 2018 or 2019 when they pulled donations to relish of Christian athletes in favor of a homo-priest founded runaway shelter. Have never gone back. I watched from the sidelines as the clown ceo said we should kneel for blm and shine their shoes.
Fag-fil-a
Every corporation is going “woke”. The ESG activists warn them that institutional stock-holders might abandon them, funding may be shut down, etc. unless they support the DIE indoctrination. Then they are forced to open a DIE department within their HR which is where all the college graduates are finding employment. Soon long-timed white (especially male) employees find themselves out the door and are replaced by those approved by the DIE section of HR.
That is the way the cancer spreads.
Destroyed from within.
DEI = DIE.
I admire the desire to treat everyone with humility and respect - until they become aggressive. Then gloves come off.
How many times has Cathy shined the shoes of strangers when the camera is not rolling?
CFA already hires folks that other companies shy away from. I see mentally and physically disabled working at those fast food joints all the time. Rarely see them at any other companies. Except for Market Street grocery stores. CFA and Market Street should be applauded.
Patience, these Joel Osteen-Rick Warren prosperity, love and tolerance matter prattlers will eventually roll on the Sunday thing as well. Why uphold the Sunday closing when you’ve gone so far as to support Sodom and Gomorrah behavior as normal.
Good question. I have seen a report that this may be fake, time will tell.
YES!!!
I don’t think he said BLM, did he?
I think he was just latching onto an action performed within a church...and act of contrition....and wanted to use it as an extreme example of loving you neighbor....mirroring Christ washing His Apostles feet.
To be sure, BLM and aggressive black malcontents aren’t anywhere near Apostle material. So I think the CEO’s actions are idiotic and not applicable to the malcontents, an therefore foolish, but at least right now I don’t think I, myself, wouldn’t put the CEO of CF in the same league as Target and Bud. I could be wrong.
