Rabbi Manis Friedman wrote a book about modesty, released in 2012, called Doesn't Anyone Blush Anymore?, now in its fourth printing. As Amazon describes the book, "The central theme of this book is modesty, a notion so simple and common that most of us would dismiss it as irrelevant to our daily lives. But Rabbi Manis Friedman asks us to look again. And as we do he explains, clearly and succinctly, how modesty can become a powerful tool for change."

What is NOT shared with just anyone takes on additional desirability just for its exclusivity.

Thanks for the name and book tip.

Alas, the postmodern Marxists are aware that "immodesty can become a powerful tool for change."

Those in my family and friends all choose modesty. I suspect it the far more normal behavior, which is why 1) the media are spewing immodesty so consistently, and 2) those who reject this are "walking away," as we watch the likes of grassroots boycotts of Anheuser-Busch, Target and Disney continue. What a surprise when people vote with their feet and closing wallets.

Rabbi Manis Friedman makes an important observation.
