I Was a Vegan ‘Activist’ — But Eating Meat Again ‘Saved my Life’

A former vegan is claiming that eating meat again saved her life.

Kai-Lee Worsley adopted a strict diet of no animal products after living with vegans. She moved from Canada to the West Coast in 2016, according to South West News Service.

But six months into the diet, she began feeling sick and her hair started falling out. Her nails grew brittle and she could barely stand. “I was extremely tired all the time. I couldn’t form coherent thoughts,” she told SWNS. “I would just lie in bed multiple times a week and I would spend all day in bed if I could.” Still, Worsley continued with the vegan diet until June 2019.

I think the MESSAGE that she sent by being a vegetarian, which was that she CARES about the planet than you or I, was far more important to her than her health. Kind of like Tesla owners.

Meat is by far the most nutritious food. With red meat and especially organ red meat being at the top. Thats why carnivores in the wild eat organs first. A liver sausage or an egg has far more vitamins than a truck load of most veggies. If you are Irish, English, German or Scandinavian, you would be foolish to have a diet that did not contain mostly meat, fish and eggs.

“Still, Worsley continued with the vegan diet until June 2019.”

That’s a lot of commitment to stick to a stupid diet for 2 more years after your hair is falling out. Too bad she wasn’t committed to something useful or productive.

Chick ain't learned a thing...

"While Worsley currently maintains a similar plant-based diet like when she was fully vegan, she’s subbed in steak three times a week.

I’ve swapped meat substitutes for meat,” she said

Veganism ignores human physiology, particularly the architecture of the mouth and teeth. Humans are designed to be scavenging omnivores, not sensitive weed eating enviro-whackos.

Esoteric veganism and vegetarianism is now being incorporated into new age net zero “modern” science, except for beetle larvae eating, maybe.

BTW, same principle applies to the two sexes. There for procreation and recreation, not denial and reassignment.

I’m old so expect things to happen. My nails weren’t growing as fast as usual and my hair was thinning. Did a little research...and as a result increased my protein. It sure made a difference in many ways. Beef, milk, cheese and chicken soup. Side of vegetable every day. Very little bread. Salad with lettuce, tomato and cukes every day. No soda. No chips. Sweets are canned fruits...dump out the juice.

.....A former vegan is claiming that eating meat again saved her life.......

That’s how things work!

And many older people cannot even follow the usual Orthodox Christian vegan fasts. Most priests recommend fish on fast days for these people, and some eat that way themselves!

zero B-12 in a strict vegan diet is the biggie ... but most people won’t start dying from a vegan diet for a few years because their liver usually contains a store of B-12 that will last for a few years ...

I am helping out vegetarians by eating all the tasty animals that eat the vegetarians plants.

I eat vegetables. They are right next to my steak.

Amino acids are critical food for humans. Vegans lifespan is reduced 10 or more years.
