When we went to the country restaurant to eat lunch last Sunday, the cook was talking to us and pushing the special. Everything was fried. I told her I had to have something grilled because my doctor was grumping at me to lose 10 pounds. She said, “what the H for? That doctor is nuts. You are so tiny already.” She asked how old I was, and I told her 68. She asked how many meds I take. I told her I take one and I’m trying another one. She said that if that’s all that’s wrong with me at 68 that I need to tell that doctor to leave me alone because I’m doing just fine and better than most. LOL
When we left, the cashier and I discussed covid and the vax. For a backwoods type, she is very educated on what the vax is doing to people and wasn’t shy about saying so either.
What can I say? It’s the backwoods of rural TN.
