The Woke U.S. Army has lost its grip on reality. How many rank and file still have confidence in their leadership?
What's the cost of losing your grip on reality? Or is there no difference between relying on the Wokish alternative of confused pronouns and cross dressers rather than old-fashioned sweat and intellect?
Back in the day, every reporter knew immediately which editors didn’t have a clue about how to be a journalist. Thankfully, the least competent were eventually assigned inconsequential duties or quit and went into PR. But as long as incompetents remained in the newsroom, reporters lost whatever respect might be expected for a superior like that in the chain of command.
Today, the U.S. Army is giving troops
“…extensive guidance for how to integrate transgender soldiers into its ranks, including … how to respond to pregnant men.”
How must that be going? Is it proper to pop the question? “When is your baby due?”

It appears the Biden armed forces have a preference, and it’s not for the old school model. The Woker the soldier, it seems the higher his eventual rank; and the more encouragement en route. Exhibits #1 and #2: Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley, of whom Victor Davis Hanson says they “exude Woke pieties.”

In their upside down world this seems like a great thing. We are in such trouble.
The entire point of our armed forces is to be regulated and rules passed by Congress. The gop for years has let one president or another to push those limits. The gop will never assert control and enforcement of military traditions.
I doubt God is blessing America anymore.
Meanwhile, the Chinese military is spending their time building the world’s largest military, drones that can fly at three times the speed of sound, and hypersonic missiles that can strike anywhere in the U.S. in a matter of minutes.
Indeed. Putting Americans at grave risk seems to be the goal.
I think (and I’ve heard others on podcasts) one of the reason why the GOP is losing is because of their chosen direction.
They (under guys like Bush, McConnel etc) set themselves up as the party of economics and defense. The democrats are shrewder at controlling people and they jumped on changing the populations attitudes and outlooks (well even changing the population..if you’ve been watching the border). So they fight over abortion and trans rights, welfare etc.
Of course that’s why that picture exists of a military March with gay pride flags showing.
Then again, looking at the people currently running the country (into the ground, it looks like), Lenin's aphorism, "The worse, the better" might be apropos here.

One of only a handful of actual enumerated powers of our government is to “provide for the common defense.” Everything this administration is doing is contrary to the very oath they swore upon taking office. We’re beyond the point of no return.
A nation doesn’t survive if it won’t defend its people and borders. Our politicians with our support, via votes has for years protected others instead of our own.
New — and rarely good — forms of government are born from societal chaos. The left clearly wants a centralized, authoritative government — as they know they know best how we all should live.
Everything — everything — the left does adds to chaos and eventual breakdown where, for example, the word “normal” becomes a bigoted expression. Thus, opposition is silenced.
The true fight is between liberty and tyranny, right and wrong, good and evil — just as it always has been. (And all reasonable people know just what those are.)
It’s just got worse and louder in these, “The End Times.”

I would like to see the actual percentages. I’m not saying they don’t exist but propaganda might be inflating the perception.
I am a proud vet who had a wonderful career serving with honest, moral, and very smart folks. However, I am strongly recommending to friends who have offspring interested in the military to avoid signing up. It has become as corrupt and loathsome as the faculty of an Ivy League university.
While the “enumerated powers” principle was used by the left, in order to emphasize “due process,” the principle was at least sometimes recognized by the Democrat Party.
Not now - Hillary Clinton, Obama, Janet Reno, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, and the communists running the “Biden Administration,” have abandoned such restraint.
Rather, they follow Al Gore’s “ . . . in the absence of a legal controlling authority” arrogantly take.
Actually, a pretty good strategy. Diversion works! If the enemy is laughing so hard that they can’t see straight, they cannot shoot!
He has blessed this country more than any on earth, and what do we do in return?

The Old Testament has shown that God’s justice on nations that reject Him comes in a few generalized forms.
One very common one is defeat, humiliation and occupation by one’s enemies.
What we are seeing here are the conditions being set for that.
