It is amazing to see all the revisionist history here and all this talk about Trump should have done this Trump should have done that, etc.
We know a hell of a lot more about 3 years after the world shifted because of it then we did then.
It would be very enlightening I’m sure , to go back and see what was said on Free Republic 3 years ago about covid ,and Trump’s response, compared to what people are saying now.
It’s very easy to say now that Fauci was wrong, but nobody thought that at the time. It’s very easy to say now that Trump showed the fire Felch and not had him as part of the team making policy but nobody thought that at the time.
I would love to see some Free Republic posts, -dated March of 2020, indicating that Fauci was wrong about everything and that he should have been fired then.
Plenty were demanding shut downs. Lots of revisionist history now. The pro-vaxxers were also a large contingent.

This is common. I can currently find no one in my generation now who opposed the Vietnam War. At least that’s what they say. People re-edit their pasts to make themselves look good.
